Rwanda and Oman Explore Fuel-Storage Infrastructure to Secure Petroleum Supplies

On 29 October 2026, Rwanda and Oman were reported to be exploring petroleum-storage facilities at ports in Oman and East Africa to strengthen fuel-import security. The discussions follow deliveries of approximately 120,000 tonnes of petroleum products to Rwanda through three bulk shipments, but no investment budget or construction contract for the proposed storage facilities has been announced. Energy companies, port operators and infrastructure investors can explore storage planning, logistics optimisation and asset-monitoring systems; HPC can support supply-chain modelling and infrastructure analytics, with quotations available for confirmed requirements.
